Beyond the Basics: Watercolor with Connie Pico

Discover the joy and versatility of watercolor painting in a supportive, individualized class setting. If you have prior experience join us. Instruction is tailored to meet your skill level and artistic goals. Students will explore a variety of watercolor techniques, including retaining white space, basic and controlled washes, fine detail work, splattering, and masking. Additional techniques will be introduced as your work progresses. Experienced artists will receive ongoing guidance to continue developing their style and technique. Investing in good brushes and paints will serve you well for months, even years, of creative work. Students are welcome to bring any watercolor supplies they already own. A Masonite board will be available for purchase on the first day of class for $10 (cash), or you may bring a 16"x20" drafting board or a piece of Baltic birch plywood as a painting surface.
