Advanced Water Medium Class (Acrylic and Watercolor) with Connie Pico

This advanced-level class is designed for students who have completed at least two full sessions of Connie Pico’s watercolor or acrylic courses and are ready to take their work to the next level. Building on a strong foundation of techniques, this studio experience focuses on refining artistic voice, developing cohesive bodies of work, and deepening technical control across water-based media.

Students will explore more complex concepts such as composition, color harmony, value structure, and intentional mark-making, while continuing to strengthen skills in layering, glazing, and surface development. Individualized instruction and thoughtful critique are central to the class, offering each artist guidance tailored to their goals and style.

This is a working studio environment where experimentation is encouraged and personal direction is supported. Whether you’re pursuing greater realism, abstraction, or a signature style, this class provides the structure and insight to move your work forward with clarity and confidence.
Ages 15 and up.

Prerequisite: Completion of two full courses in watercolor and/or acrylic with Connie Pico.
